Before we start digital art there’re some things you need to know, like the type of devices and their advantages and disadvantages.
What is digital art?
Digital art is the same as normal art but instead of drawing on paper, you draw on a digital drawing tablet. Drawing tablets come in three types:
1.Drawing tablets (graphics tablet)
2.Drawing tablets with screen
3.Full desktop drawing tablet
Drawing tablets
These tablets are basically a big mouse but it’s shaped in a plate which you can draw on.
But it does not have a screen so you have to plugin into your laptop or pc so what you draw on the tablet it will appear on the screen. You will also need a drawing application sore are free and some are paid, like the most famous amongst digital artists is photoshop which you need to pay annually. Depending on the brand some tablets might even have some macro keys on the side to keep as custom shortcuts. As this don’t have a screen they are cheaper and the best pick for beginners. The best-being from Wacom, who is one of the leading makers of drawing tablets beside Huion and Xp pen. But as they don’t have a screen you keep the tablet to the side with his more ergonomic and better for your back unlike the ones with the screen because you are forced t hunch down to look at the screen, but the cheaper ones have a really small drawing are so that can be very difficult to draw
Drawing tablets with screen
These tablets have a screen which you can draw on so you see where your ped is set down and where it moves unlike the ones without the screen they only see the cursor when the stylus hovers over the tabler, they also come in bigger sizes. They basically act as a second monitor for your laptop or pc because this also needs to connect to your laptop to pc.
As these have a bigger size with a screen they are way more expensive especially from the leading brands Wacom and Huion. These also have macro buttons but more than these smaller brothers. An alternative to these big tablets is buying android or apple tablets with styles support.
Desktop drawing tablets
These are the same as drawing tablets with ha screen but you don't need to plug it into a pc because a pc is build into it
at the end you still need the skill to draw but after that you can pick the two ways of art physical or digital>
